Iddi Yakubu
Frontend Engineer

Hello, I am

Iddi Yakubu

I build accessible, performant frontend interfaces with TypeScript, React, Vue and Flutter — from web apps to cross-platform engineering tools. Recent work includes GeoMech, a Flutter app used by drilling engineers to predict mud weight, pore pressure and fracture pressure, plus a merged bug-fix contribution to Supabase. On the backend I work in Laravel, and I run CI/CD pipelines that keep releases fast and safe.

About me

I build end-to-end products with a pragmatic engineering approach — from accessible React and Vue frontends to Laravel APIs and Flutter cross-platform tools. I prioritize clarity, testing and repeatable delivery pipelines so a distributed team can review and ship features with confidence.

I've been developing professionally since 2018, coming from a Petroleum Engineering background — a path that shaped how I approached GeoMech, a Flutter app I built for drilling engineers to model mud weight, pore pressure and fracture pressure. I'm an active open-source contributor, with a bug-fix merged into Supabase's monorepo, and I work comfortably in fully remote, async-first teams.
